Since then, I've been attempting to photograph the deer. When I'm prepared, the deer are a no show. When I'm just on a hike or doing something else, the deer appear.
This morning, I hike with camera and lens in tow. No deer showed. I finish my morning hike, pack out my gear, and leave. As I'm at the exit to the park, waiting to make my left hand turn, I glance up in my rear view mirror in time to see a doe jog behind the truck.
At this point, I think they are intentionally taunting me.
In the meantime, here's a nature image in black and white. I loved the patterns in my favorite marsh grass.
