Kelly, the makeup artist and hairstylist, had a great long necklace that we pinned up to change the look into a choker. We wanted to bring in warm colors for the headshot so Kelly used turquoise on Kelsey's eyes. Kelly also created a beautiful updo. I could not find a jeweled headband that I liked for the undo. Fortunately, Kelsey brought a lovely muli-chain necklace that worked perfectly for the headband.
The final two looks are beautiful dresses that Kelsey brought. They both had great movement and were a lot of fun to shoot while Kelsey twirled. The floral dress gave me Spring fever so I brought out a Summer hat to give the full look a very Spring or Summer warm day appearance. It was nice to capture such a carefree, warm weather look while it was only 20 some degrees outside with snow.
It was a lot of fun working with Kelsey for the second time. Some of you may remember that Kelsey was my first "broken doll." She posed for my Victorian Industrial concept. This shoot is in the complete opposite direction of the broken doll so it was fun to show both of our diversity.
